magic sky this morning,,, very cold, not a lot of joy in the air. Mercifully, there is chocolate.

Slight and cold first Sunday
Very cold and diminished market - most of the few punters were in cafes, which is as it should be of course. A handful of mates out being brave - Katrine, Joseph, Billy, Eddy, Ziggi and many others stopped for a chat. Enjoyed it all! The evening stroll was spectacular but bitingly cold. Back home and I'm frightened of getting chilblains.
Take care, y'all!

O-B, Thomas and Kenny hit the headlines
Our immortal Ole-Bendik gets more immortal every day :) Here are he and Thomas on both the front page and the inner pages of La Depeche, with a plug for Kenny McKendry thrown in. Even the mayor has given them a facebook mention, which given his track record with the arts is marvellous.

Happy New Year
Not wanting to break with tradition, Bob and I were in bed by 10.00.pm last night. Hope you had a good party, wherever you are!
I shouldn't have boasted about the weather. It's turned. But its not raining and we are not being flooded.December 29, 2025
ending the year
Beautiful weather here - the last couple of days have been a treat. We've been running hither and yon doing domestix, paperworky stuff, nothing fun; sunshine a great help.
Kells is still with us though rarely spotted due to cute granddaughter!

Boxing day
Many friends evaded my camera last night, or I was too busy ladling out mulled wine to get organised. Below is Jo sitting with the parrots and the many mince pies which made our french friends suspicious (Sweet? Salty?)
and Karim, Jem being there somewhere...
several apologies due to seasonal exhaustion and malaise, alas - rest up y'all - and many thanks for the gifts and conversations and extra mince pies.
