The tribe assembled en masse yesterday
for Angela's farewell breakfast - raucous fun ensued - and the
SNCF bus came as usual. We changed buses in Limoux , getting to Carcassonne in good time for the airport navette. As Maggie was also on the bus heading for the airport, she and Angela shared a cab and got there early.
(Something funny has happened to spacing the text, sorry)
Return buses were thin on the ground but there was one at 1.37 so I got home easily. Anyone using public transport during this indefinite train strike is probably OK, just carry a good book. Above are breakfasters Claudinne, Kat and Margaret. Also present were almost everyone we know; Rupert and Julie were a surprise addition -

Below is Annies new kitchen :)
Gracie, Bob and I dined royally with Annie and Pete in the old one. Many congratulations to Pete who has been offered a brilliant job that will not demand new clothes or a haircut but unfortunately may see him absent from our fold for a while -
