The Captain and I had errands to run and worlds to conquer in Carcassonne and managed to achieve a surprising amount, fairly painlessly.
We took a chance on lunch and tried a new place called Wok Land which is off the Geant roundabout, thus not far from the airport. Anyone having to be hanging about in that direction should try it - buffet volonte, that's eat-as-much-as -you want, with sushi, salads, dead fish and animals that can be cooked in front of you. We loved it. Entered at midi and by half past the place was all but full, a mix of families, workers and geriatrics.
No noticeable dress code.
When we got home there was just time to change and powder the nose before going to Max and Andreas - Andy leaves us any min so this was her farewell apero. She's back in June so we can do it again to welcome her :)
The new house is scrubbing up well... love this pic of Norbert, Bob and Louise, below.
our host... being hosty. Lovely job, Max. You vibrate at a great rate which is why the pic is blurred.
Many blurred photos, many friends neglected. I'm rubbish at this. Here are John and Mike.
Will do better next time.
