Spring has made that leap that spring makes and suddenly the air is full of perfumes and colour is everywhere... pity blogs cant do scratch 'n'sniff.
and I know I said I was done with pilgrimages but I can't help passing friends houses and reflecting; here I'm missing the Dutch and the Scots -
I've heard from many of our friends and no-one seems to have gone mad yet.
so missing esperaza, sitting on the terrace waiting to see the swallows and swifts return and to hear the first cuckoo. thanks for all your posts
ReplyDeleteJust heard my first cuckoo this morning, whilst emptying the recycling - the sand martins are out in force and a handful of swifts. Glorious indeed, sorry you are missing it all -
