Not a lot to write home about, a bit  of scaffolding in the Rue de la Gare... lots actually going on but nothing too photogenic. 

For instance, visited Esperaza  dietician Patricia in the health centre, anxious to find out if I really am gluten intolerant or just being trendy. It seems I am not good with industrial wheat and that at my great age it ain't a surprise. Lots of shibboleths, dammit, though - get this - my drinking is completely acceptable and well within health limits. 

On the subject of food, Claudine brought us a wonderful meal which we shared with her and Jean. A new concept of dinner parties, same food, same time, just separately. 

Another time we shared a meal with Dougie and Regina, kind-of; in that we ordered from the same outlet and had it delivered together. 

According to Patricia the captain and l must have separate meals. All these variations on dinner parties :)

It is the most beautiful autumnal day today. Warm and scented with wood smoke. Just taken my hours exercise for day and wondering if I can have the Captains too, since he can't do his on account of the back. Which is much much better BTW.
