Rose had arranged with the local retirement home to visit our neighbour Jeannine Verdie on her 94th birthday so I gate-crashed the party... Jeannine (though frail) is in fine spirits and it was a joy to see her. Getting in is easy if you have a mask and your covid pass and are prepared to have your temperature taken... all sensible precautions in these days.
