Carcassonne in the cold

 Good weather and impenetrable work equals a day out in Carcassonne - where it was disappointingly grey and overcast AND cold. The shops I'd wanted to visit, notably the posh framers, were closed. Sigh. Still, it does you good to get out and I made some friends on the return journey which was 4 hours long due to bus driver strikes. 

Though frisky enough, there was a definite fin de siècle vibe in the air...
