'Tis the season to be jolly, evidentially, though presumably as a concession to the energy crisis the lights haven't been switched on yet.It's grey and overcast but not without its beauty. Saw a kingfisher! And the starlings are gathering for a murmuration: plus there were a couple of scraggy shags cruising the river.
