Saturday and Sunday in mid October, Esperaza

Here's Deb Mullins, very old friend and companion of our youth :) Here for a long weekend. Glorious fun, chattering about the complex past. Took this snap at Peter and Clares, where we went for lunch yesterday... weather smiled on us as did everything, really.

Diane Dunn was there too and was forced to wear a sunhat.

As ever, La Serpent was stunning

In the evening we hotfooted it to the hat museum at Montazels where a Catalan band were playing Country, Blues and US Folk. It wasn't was bad as it sounds; I'd go so far as to say that the audience loved it. Great musicians.

And todays Big Boy!!! is Peter Gregory, who invited us all to an apero at Toutla to celebrate his 77th year.  Thanks to him and Nel - lovely idea, a few nibbles and a little glass of bubbles or two, many friends exchanging great notions; lets do it again soon.
