much sociability

By sheer good luck, Annie and Pete are at their Mill when Ryan and Alicia are here, which caused much celebration. A lunch in the shade, to be exact. Then at Etiennes insistence we had dinner at the Argentinian restaurant - so we were happily ensconced in their plastic shed when the storm broke.  

The party continued at Toutla, but Bob and I had quit before then. 

And this morning, early, David and Celia left for the long drive to Switzerland. We have the remaining family for another day.
