Holidays

Sally is visiting, a holiday has been declared :) Here she is at apero last night, after an exciting day of total tourism...
We started at Rennes Le Chateau (above is the stone with prehistoric carvings that is lying around) then naturally moved by the back routes to Rennes Les Bains. There the hot springs and roman stuff were dutifully viewed before lunch at Will and Marvis in the square - thence to Campagne-sur-aude for the Templar church. Here is a shot of a space behind an altar showing nice building techniques

To Quillan next for the church there and on to the horse fair for some light relief -

We had dinner with Bob in l'Authentique since a storm started to threaten and my plans to eat at the Poulet  Bicyclette became daft. Plus Starlight were playing in Esperaza from 10pm till 2.00am, hurrah! Here they are at 10.30 which is when we thought we'd call it a day.

Not before watching Scotland being terribly trounced in the football; we went to Luc's and had to drink cafe cognac to get us through it.
