seasons snuffles

Here's the Cafe du Pont and its seasonal message. Took this a few days ago and only putting it up now as a hook on which to hang my complaint - to wit, I've got the 'flu, which after having a 'flu jab ain't fair.
On the plus side Bob is here for the weekend so I have a chef and animal sitter, phew.

All foreign residents here, can I recommend that you register to vote? There is a deadline of 31st December and its easy - passport and proof-of-residency, a household bill does fine. You can't vote in the big ones but you can in the local. But only if you've registered.

  1. Zinc (by itself) really is the best treatment for runny drippy noses. A pharmacist told me about it in the 1970s, he'd read about it in the New England Journal of Medicine. No highs or lows just relief and when that starts failing, take another dose. If you're around air pollution (cities..) a daily dose helps prevent the post nasal drip morning glug in the throat.
with zinc or without, hope you feel better soon
