Travelers tales...

When we arrived in Chalabre it seemed that the wild knitters had got there first but actually its all crocheted... we were told that there was a team of them, all women and one man (much hilarity at this) Phil drove us in his red 2CV which caused everyone who saw it to smile and others to wave. Felt like a princess.
and to add to the delight, there was Dave Compson, an artist of these parts, cycling happily along as is his wont - great to see him and swap covid notes.

We were en route to Pech-Luna and lunch with Richard and Alison Samuel. Here is Alison presiding over a salad and quichey type event, perfect for the (much better) weather. We swam and nattered and then came back late for the night market.

Voila, Ian at the night market.-

the full moon also at the night market (which was moved from the lawn under the trees after the recent rains)
and Jamsie.

Given that it was the last night of the season it was strangely lacklustre. We missed the fireworks but caught the huge bangs they caused as we were in the Rue de la Gare - where the bats were flying hither and yon, terrified. Most distressing for them and us and local animals. No pretty fizzy things just explosions. Yuc.
