Back in Esperaza

 You hadn't even noticed I'd gone, I know... been delivering paintings to l'Isle sur la Sorgue thanks to Bobs driving skills. We had to leave before dawn to beat the holiday traffic on the 1st August - an estimated 4 million cars on the roads of France -  very daunting. This sunrise was over Lezignan way. Ominous or what.

But we arrived in time for the hanging and were treated royally. If you find yourself in l'isle s/la Sorgue, do track it down (51 Rue Carnot).

Back by a circuitous and scenic route - Cavaillon, Arles, Aigues Morts, Sete - now home, reunited with dog, rabbits, parrot and tortoise. Thanks to all who cared for them in our absence. Feel as if we've been gone a long time though actually it was overnight.
