Ryan has carved steps into the hillside so that accessing our favorite picnic space is now a doddle... the weather is cooler in the evening so we took a picnic up. Peter brought his guitar and sang; the children Charlie, Hannah and William were delightul and entertaining and Etienne was a hoot. He joined in the singing.
Clare brought wonderful food to amplify our basic shop bought stuff - Alecia bought her home-baked buscuits. There was cake. It was all good. Oh and chilled Blanquette. Magical evening
