Beautiful Friday

Yesterday,  Friday, the sun shone... this morning it is freezing and snowing.  The huge thrilling excitement of yesterday is that T Rex re-opened its hallowed portals. Its been closed for ever - can't remember - (since the owner got depressed.) He's leasing it to another who is currently being inducted- Patrick - and nothing has changed, allelujia. Though hes proposing a new menu anon.
Drawn by this magnet John flew in from Ireland, got off the last train and came straight to dine with Mike. Margaret is joining him next week.
Interesting that hes developed a halo since we last met.

 

Its all going to be different soon though. Had a nose at St Gobain  yesterday, see below, which is being transformed into a restaurant. Its a lovely building, huge, being done up well and with no chi chi - looking forward to a class restaurant in town, though my vulgar tastes will never quite abandon T Rex.
