Ankela and Jon left yesterday, will see them in England in October. John and Margaret gave us dinner last night so no time to be sad, thank you darlings :) Below is Toby, who was there with her friend that I failed to photograph with her eyes open. Wonderful meal, BTW. The details of the avocado and something mouselline escape me but I want to be able to make it; then there were melon balls in a health-giving toxic liqueur, a smashing tagine, cheese followed by apricot tart with plum coulis. A fair number of the guests have given up drinking so I had to work really hard to deal with all the bottles. Feel tremendous this morning, honest.
