gated

Here (again) is our lovely Norbert-made garden gate - it changes with the weather, art-work par excellence.
Though right now its very wet. We have finally got our promised storm. Bob is delighted, thinking of the watering he won't have to do.

The  big excitement, really, is that my Crown Macron has finally been fitted. Wonderful dental care from Dr Botelli and a comfortable and somewhat glamorous addition to my mouth. It took exactly 6 months from my old crown falling off to the installation of the new... mostly because of the remarkable amount of paperwork involved.

We went to Carcassonne today for essential supplies (canvases), and in Geant bumped into Alain and his wife, ex-owners of Le Relais Occitan. They'd been back for the fete here so knew that Luc had got a buyer for his cafe. They were unchanged from their time here :) Told them they were missed and they agreed. Of course they were.
