Got back last night having braved the French train strikes, tierd but triumphant; thence to St Gobains to watch Stan and Eddie play. Here is a short video of tragic quality - those that were there will barely recognise the sound but it will serve as a mnemonic, I hope.

The weather has been roasting, summer-hot; then today (for the market) it has clouded over and begun to rain with attendent sudden fierce gusts of wind. We soldier on.
