 Domestic life, really - heres a rabbit and a sparrow at breakfast and here are some of five (five!!) horses that are clearing the field behind the house.

beautiful... and they make an agreeable snuffling noise under my window all night, curiously comforting.

Can't resist adding this splendidly ambigious bird that has taken up residence in Leo and Tobys - and hasnt moved a muscle since they got here -

Yesterdays phrase was 'a cote de la plaque'. Andree assures me that this is French for  not being quite oneself. I tried it out  in answer to people who ca va?d me and they mostly responded with, me too.
