Menagerie exansion

One of our neighbours, Claude Zoppe of the Avenue de Carcassonne,  died of cancer on Friday at the age of 57. He was buried yesterday. In the evening we took possession of his very stressed parrots, an African grey called Ricco and a little bouncy thing called son petit compagnon. They seem to have settled, eating OK, eyeing Tango with interest. I had thought that Tangos beak would be out of join but he is totally accepting.

We didn't know Msr Zoppe though everyone says he was a lovely man, taken far too soon - but I am familiar with his voice! Ricco has a string of deep calls, some clucking, some  French words. Both entertaining and sad. His friends are welcome to visit and say hello.
