Probably shouldn't miss this tomorrow - our new mayors first public appearance - but I'm overwhelmed with ennui.
Last night was good though! Still only socialising in small groups which is the way to get to spend time with our friends... l miss the kind of clatter of parties but enjoy the conversation of individuals. Here are Richard and Eva who entertained us last night, thank you darlings.
We were expecting Margo and Theophile tomorrow but after taking advise it seems reckless to spend time too closely with people who have traveled from across the world is several airplanes , however much we love them. So they are staying in an hotel and we will meet for a time outside. >sniff<.
